How we do Business

At Moore HomeWorks, we believe that the foundation of any successful project lies in a transparent process, open communication and realistic expectation management. Throughout the process we look to understand your project fully, and will adapt as necessary to any specifc requirements you may have.

Whether your project is big or small we follow the process outlined below.

1. Initial contact

This is where we'll get the first overview of what your requirements are, either through email, call or the form on the contact us page of our website. The more you can tell us in this intial contact, the quicker we'll be able to get your project completed!

2. Face to Face Meeting

The face-to-face meeting is a crucial step, offering an invaluable opportunity to refine the work required for your project. It also means we can provide tailored recommendations based on your specific needs, and ensure we're well matched to complete the work you need.

3. The Estimate

After understanding your specific needs, we will do our best to provide you with honest timelines and realistic cost estimates. We aim to be as transparent as possible, and this upfront communication helps eliminate misunderstandings and builds a trusting relationship as we move forward.

4. Project Agreement & Scheduling

If you like the estimate we've provided, we can go ahead and agree on a start date for the work, as well as a sensible timeline for finishing it. We can talk about what hours work best for you and adjust our schedule based on how quickly you need the job done. At this stage, we might ask for a deposit, depending on what materials we need to get the project done correctly and on time.

5. Project Delivery

During the project, we make sure to communicate openly and are always here to answer any questions or concerns you might have. If the project is extensive, we can provide regular updates on how the work is progressing.

6. Work Completion

Once we finish your home improvement project, we will make sure to clean up the area thoroughly. After everything’s cleaned up, we'll allow you some time and space to check that you're happy with the work, and to ask any questions you may have.

7. Invoicing

Depending on the size and complexity of the work undertaken, invoicing may occur progressively as each stage of the project is completed. For smaller jobs, you'll just get one invoice. Either way, at the end of any work a final invoice is provided, summarising full details of the work completed throughout the process.

8. Aftercare

Once the final invoice is paid, it signals the completion of the project. We want to make sure you remain happy with the work completed, so if you experience any problems with our work, please get in contact and we will do our best to solve any issues that arise. We'll also make sure to check in after a couple of months just to ensure everything's still as you want it.
